About Camille
Camille Lambie Knight is a British Caribbean visual artist of Grenadian and Trinidadian heritage, based in North West London. A self taught artist, she primarily works with oil paint, blending figurative realism with symbolic storytelling. Her distinctive use of monochrome tones with selective colour, surreal motifs, and expressive detail explores themes of identity, resilience, and transformation. Through her work, she invites viewers to reflect on their relationships with themselves, others, and the world with greater empathy and introspection.
Her journey with art began as a means of healing and self discovery during her teenage years while navigating challenges with her mental and physical health. This formative experience continues to shape the themes she explores, reinforcing her belief in art as a tool for emotional expression and connection.
Camille has worked with global clients across sports, music, and entertainment, with notable commissions including a 7ft tribute to Jamal Edwards MBE for 0207 Def Jam Records. Her work has been exhibited at prestigious venues such as Christie’s and the Royal Exchange.
